A community for Apple-platform developers

Swift Sri Lanka
Community.

A new home for everyone in Sri Lanka building on Apple's platforms — iOS, macOS, visionOS, watchOS and Swift on the server. Students, indie makers, and engineers at product teams. No gatekeeping.

Practical talks

Real production stories — what worked, what broke, what you'd do differently next sprint.

Hands-on workshops

Pair-up sessions where you ship something real before lunch. Bring a laptop.

Tight community

No gatekeeping. Students, hobbyists and staff engineers all share the same room.

Our first meetup.

A gathering for iOS, macOS & visionOS app developers in Sri Lanka. Join us for a full day of talks, a hands-on workshop, lightning sessions, and lunch.

Common questions.

Email hello@swiftsl.lk if there's anything else.

  • Yes — talks, workshop and lunch are all free, thanks to our sponsors. RSVP is required because seats are limited.

  • Not at all. Curious students, designers, backend folks wanting to learn Swift, and anyone interested in the Apple platforms are all welcome.

  • If you've written any Swift before — even a tutorial — you'll keep up. We pair people during the workshop so nobody gets stuck alone.

  • Yes. Sign up at the door on the day. Five minutes, any topic adjacent to Apple platforms.

  • We're planning to record the main talks and put them on our community YouTube channel. We'll confirm closer to the date — either way, the workshop and lightning talks are in-person only.
